Job Title: Line Cook - 1st or 2nd Shift- $16.15hr

Job Description

A line cook, also known as a chef de partie or station chef, manages a specific area of food preparation in a restaurant. Line cooks are responsible for a particular type of food or preparation method, such as butcher, fish, vegetable, sauté, roast, or grill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook various types of food including cutting meat, mixing sauces, chopping vegetables, and preparing ingredients.

• Clean and set up prep stations before each shift.

• Ensure quality control by checking food prep and storage areas to comply with health and safety regulations.

• Assist executive and sous chefs with daily tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation techniques such as cutting meat, mixing sauces, chopping vegetables, and preparing ingredients.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.15 - $16.15
