Fort Worth, TX company is seeking a IT Systems Senior Engineer to join their team for a contract opportunity.

Leverage the latest technology to solve business problems in a collaborative environment at this Fortune 500 transportation giant. Top technical resources are retained on long-term contract engagements.

Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase better.

Contract Duration: 2 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of full stack development experience with React, Web Services, Python, Fast API.

• 1-3 years of working in Linux operating system and shell scripting.

• 1-3 years of working in Windows operating system and PowerShell.

• Demonstrated expertise utilizing Puppet.

• Advanced development/configuration with Ansible.

• Experience with Cloud platform such as Azure.

• Working knowledge of common networking protocols (e.g., HTTP, TCP, IP, SSH, FTP, SMTP,DNS, LDAP), load balancer, firewall, storage.

• Strong knowledge with creating and maintaining CI/CD Pipeline processes and related automation tooling.

• Experience with API development, Azure DevOps, yaml pipelines, GitHub & GitHub Actions, VMware VRA/VRO.

• Capable of writing comprehensive technical documentation and diagrams.

• Advanced working knowledge of VMware vRealize Automation.

• Depth in working with Windows 2022, RHEL 8, Ubuntu 22 & 24
