Lockheed Martin Industrial Engineer Senior Staff - Delivery Ops (Level 5) in Fort Worth, Texas

This role integrates Industrial Engineering solutions for F-35 Delivery Operations, including AFF and Flight Line. Responsibilities include analyzing and developing production plans, monitoring health metrics, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing production activities through automation and software tools.

The position includes project management, leading a small IE team, mentoring shop floor IEs, and collaborating with Production Management, Industrial Engineering, and support functions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Technical Leadership: Develop and integrate Industrial Engineering solutions for F-35 Delivery Operations, ensuring alignment with production goals.

Production Planning: Lead the analysis, creation, and implementation of comprehensive production plans to meet program objectives.

Metrics Development: Establish and monitor production health metrics to drive performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Continuous Improvement: Enhance production efficiency through automation techniques, process optimizations, and advanced software solutions.

Team Leadership: Mentor a small team of Industrial Engineers, fostering skill development and collaboration.

Project Management: Perform as project manager on strategic initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Collaboration: Partner with Production Management, Industrial Engineering, and other support functions to align goals and deliverables.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Industrial Engineering tools and techniques in a Delivery Operations, Coatings, or Assembly environment. (production scheduling, manufacturing/labor estimating, &/or capacity/resource planning.)

• Experience managing metrics and reporting tools to ensure elements of cost, schedule, quality, safety, &/or workforce.

• Experience with statistical analysis, data analysis, &/or database operations.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience.

• Prior leadership or technical lead experience.

• Experience with Assembly EVMS Processes.

• Experience with one or more of the following Data Analytics tools: Regression analysis, statistical process control, data mining, SQL statement experience, R, Cobra, Python, Tableau, etc.

• Experience working with business objects (BO) and enterprise data warehouse (EDW).

• Experience with analytical and project planning tools and software, MS Office Suite, or Electronic Crew manager (ECM)

• Project management experience.

• Lean/Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt, Green Belt, PDCA, etc.).

• Experience with DOMMS.

• Experience in aircraft finishes or paint operations.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
