Partner with Sr. Leadership of the Distribution departments to develop strategic and tactical business plans. Provide timely and accurate financial information and business performance analysis to assist the Operations Group in making informed-decisions. Define measures to evaluate how the Operations Group is performing against its strategic and tactical business plans. Responsible for the accounting function related to the groups supported. Lead in planning and coordination of the budget and strategic planning processes for all Distribution centers globally. Present results to executive operations and finance management. Lead budgeting process and monthly forecast for distribution centers. Responsible for all aspects of the monthly close process related to the Distribution centers, including intercompany charges for shared distribution centers. Work with logistics and trade compliance group to establish annual freight and duty standards. Establish standard cost per unit for distribution, embroidery, and value added services. Report and analyze on variances to business plan and forecast. Hold monthly financial business review with key stake holders. Manage integration of multi brand distribution centers. Monitor Cycle Counts and corrective action. Prepare financial analysis of major programs and capital projects. Assist in the preparation and review of Capital Funding Requests. Build ROI on capital investment while obtaining buy in and commitment from the business partners. Understand cost structure from a business view by analyzing cost trends, labor and non-labor cost scaling, and creating comparison metrics to validate cost assumptions. Effectively communicate Continuous Improvement strategy, plans, and results with business leaders and have the ability to implement project decisions. Coordinate and assist with process improvement projects and initiatives using the Lean Six Sigma methodology to create standardized processes, templates, and tools to simplify and support corporate consolidation and reporting work flows. Supervise one (1) direct report holding the title of Finance Analyst. Up to 10% domestic travel required.
