Location: Houston, Austin and Dallas. Job Description: The Film Producer Intern will assist in overseeing the production process of film and television projects, ensuring that they run smoothly from start to finish. You will work closely with the creative and production teams to manage schedules, budgets, talent, and other resources, making sure projects are completed on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: ? Project Development: Assist in developing film and television projects by conducting research, pitching ideas, and collaborating with writers and directors to refine project concepts. ? Production Management: Help create production schedules and budgets using industry tools like Studio Binder or Shot Grid. ? Coordination and Logistics: Coordinate with talent, crew, and vendors to ensure smooth production logistics. ? Financial Oversight: Assist in managing project finances, including cost tracking, contract management, and budget forecasting. ? Marketing and Distribution: Participate in post-production marketing strategies, including distribution, audience outreach, and social media engagement. Skills Required: ? Strong understanding of film production processes, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. ? Experience with production management software (Studio Binder, Shot Grid). ? Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Qualifications: ? Degree in Film Production, Business, or a related field. ? Previous internship or coursework in film production, project management, or film business is preferred. ? Professional reference required.
