Job Description:
UES is looking for an Estimato r to join our team. This position entails working in the estimating department to generate cost estimates for new projects with increasing exposure over time to the single family, multi-family & commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the UES team as well as regular client interface.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generating cost estimates utilizing our take off software from the plans specifications.
Prepare take-offs and material lists and work with drawings and specifications.
Use Excel spreadsheets to transfer quantities and testing frequencies.
Interact with clients and our marketing department to obtain additional contract documents.
Regular attendance is an essential duty of this position
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferred; or one to two years previous related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
