Lockheed Martin DevSecOps Engineer, Senior in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a talented DevSecOps lead for the Space Lifecycle Digital Twin portfolio. This individual will lead the DevSecOps efforts for a suite of Digital Twin products deployed to the LMI and customer environments. They will manage the deployment processes, security approaches, partner program coordination, customer deployments, and support maintenance of required infrastructure.
The qualified candidate will work across the Space Lifecycle Digital Twin portfolio to scale and implement best practices and focus on automation and efficiency as the portfolio moves into full production. This individual will be able to collaborate across multiple technical teams and products to drive commonality in our processes. They will also employ best practices and coordinate with Enterprise teams like Software Factory and Space Model-Based Engineering (SMBE) to be aligned to enterprise standards.
The DevSecOps lead will:
– Facilitate commonality and standards into software development, deployment processes, and environment configuration
– Maintain Kubernetes Helm Charts to automate software development and deployments
– Automate software, software testing, and deployments in the Gitlab CI/CD pipeline
– Help maintain Gitlab repositories to ensure appropriate accesses and guardrails are in place to support good software development practices
– Manage Kubernetes/OpenShift and Microsoft Azure deployments
Basic Qualifications:
– Full lifecycle software development experience
– Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
– Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and/or Azure
– Experience with DevSecOps
– Previous experience operating in an Agile environment
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
– Experience with container development and orchestration with Kubernetes or a K8s distribution such as Red Hat OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes Service
– Experience with managing compute environments, such as VMware, OpenStack, Azure, etc.
– Experience with managing/developing cloud environments such as OpenStack, AWS, and Azure
– TS/SCI clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,800 - $186,100.
