Corporate CRM Business Analyst

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Business Analyst to join our Corporate PMO department. This role will be responsible for gathering business requirements, conducting needs assessments, and creating functional specifications to ensure that POWER’s current CRM tool, Dynamics Customer Engagement (CE), supports business objectives. In addition, this role will also act as a System Administrator for Dynamics 365 CE to configure, customize, and manage our CRM. The chosen candidate will be liaison between the project and development teams, POWER’s internal customers and external partners. The CRM Business Analyst will work alongside corporate Project Managers to ensure project business requirements are met, solutions vetted and tested to support successful and quality implementations of technology solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform

  • System Configuration and Customization:

  • Utilize Business Analysis experience and expertise to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Dynamics 365 solutions

  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 – Sales, including potential custom development

  • Utilize Power Platform administration/development experience to enhance system functionality using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors and user related issues

  • User Management and Security

  • Manage user roles, access permissions, and security settings within the Dynamics 365 environment

  • Ensure proper data access controls and maintain system integrity

  • System Maintenance and Updates

  • Install updates, patches, and enhancements to keep the system current and optimized

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues promptly

  • Research and prepare for Microsoft Wave Releases

  • Training and Support

  • Assist with development of end-user training on system functionality and best practices

  • Provide technical support and address user queries related to Dynamics 365

  • Business Analysis:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, workflows, and systems.

  • Translate business needs into clear and concise functional specifications.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and cost savings.

  • Propose and implement solutions to enhance business operations.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze data from various sources to derive actionable insights.

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

  • Provide recommendations based on data-driven analysis.

  • Solution Design and Documentation:

  • Collaborate with developers and system architects to design solutions.

  • Document business processes, use cases, and system requirements.

  • Ensure clear communication between business and technical teams.

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

  • Define UAT scenarios and test cases.

  • Coordinate UAT with end-users and validate system functionality.

  • Address any issues or defects identified during testing.

  • Change Management:

  • Assist in change management activities related to process improvements or system implementations.

  • Train end-users on new processes and systems

  • Support adoption of changes within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment

  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques, process modeling, and use case development.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power Platform admin/developer

  • Proficiency in model-driven apps, system administration, and custom code development

  • Knowledge of other areas of the Dynamics ecosystem, including F&O, HR, and Project Operations

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Effective client-facing and internal team communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Ability to create effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate with internal teams

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and time management capabilities.

  • Ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team

Desired Experience:

  • Business Analyst Certification (ie: IIBA, PMI-PBA, BAC, CCBA, CBAP, AAC, CAP)

  • AEC Industry knowledge

  • Familiarity of reality capture technology

  • Familiarity with emerging AI and ML technologies

  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies

POWER is a fun engineering firm. That might seem contradictory to some, but it works for us!

The pay range for this position is $75K-$105K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
