Job Description:
UES is seeking a Concrete Lab Technician to support construction materials testing (CMT) and sample tracking for exciting projects across the Fort Worth area, from infrastructure to high-rises. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that structural materials meet all quality standards during the construction process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Break concrete cylinders
Test soil samples
Label concrete cylinders, beams, prisms or cubes.
Determine unit weights (if needed)
Cap cylinders, prisms, and cubes
Ensure specimens are cured properly and for the correct amount of time
Enter row data into internal system for management’s review and reporting
Monitor equipment for calibration purposes
Report calibration status to management
