Description

Jet Health, Inc / Klarus Home Health & Hospiceis looking forfull time, part time or PRN / Per Diem CNA's - Certified Nursing Assistantsto join ourhome health &hospiceteams serving our patients inFort Worth, TX metroplexand the surrounding areas.

The Certified Nursing Assistant is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort. The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed.

Requirements

  • Perform personal care tasks according to patient assignments and promptly attend to their needs

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance, including baths, skin care routine, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens

  • Assist patients with dressing, undressing, and meal prep as needed

  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse Case Manager

  • Assist with ambulation, exercise, and other therapeutic activities as instructed

  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the patient's immediate living space

  • Adhere to documentation and care procedures, as well as standards of personal and professional conduct

  • Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and competency evaluation

  • Minimum of one year of CNA experience preferred.

  • Experience in home health or hospice care preferred but not required

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given

  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families

  • Current CPR certification

  • Valid driver's license, insured automobile in good working order

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills
