Lockheed Martin ADP Flight Test Instrumentation Manager in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: We are Lockheed Martin

This position is for a first line manager of the ADP Flight Test Instrumentation team in Fort Worth, TX. This team is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation on test articles for ADP. The ADP Flight Test Instrumentation manager will be responsible for assigning support to the requesting programs, provide technical guidance for project execution, skills development, process development, and overall team management. This position requires frequent communication to varying levels of management to provide statuses, request resources, and to address technical issues. This position requires detailed coordination with FTI/DP teams at other locations for multi-site efforts.

Knowledge of flight test instrumentation is required. Familiarity of LM Aeronautics leadership development processes (Full Spectrum Leadership) is highly desired.

A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in STEM field

Flight test experience

Instrumentation knowledge/experience

Team leadership experience

Strong problem solving skills

Active Secret security clearance or better and the ability to acquire and maintain SAP access

Desired Skills:

Prior leadership and people management, to include employee recruitment/retention, selection & training, performance assessment, work assignment, salary, recognition/disciplinary actions, & career development.

Flight test instrumentation design experience

Flight test instrumentation operations experience

Project management experience

Data Processing knowledge/experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to acquire and maintain SAP access

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
