We are in the process of hiring an Accounting Manager to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing project support to the accounting team and maintaining the general ledger. This is a 3-4 month contract position. Hybrid work schedule: in office 4 days a week in Fort Worth, TX 76102; and work remotely 1 day a week.

Accounting Manager (contract position):

Responsibilities:

• Provide project support to the accounting team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

• Carry out the review and reconciliation of balance sheets for audit and financial reporting.

• Maintain the general ledger with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Prepare financial statements in line with industry standards and company policies.

• Process and record journal entries to support documentation efforts.

• Leverage your knowledge of accounting software systems for efficient data management.

• Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to streamline accounting functions.

• Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Conduct regular auditing procedures to identify and rectify discrepancies.

• Oversee billing functions, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.

  Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with BlackLine

• Ability to use Concur

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Auditing

• Familiarity with Billing Functions
