In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.
Join the Adaptive Communications and Sensing Contracts team and be a part of a world class contracting team supporting the Airborne Radios Product Area, which provides radio communications products and services to the U.S. Government and its allies around the world.
The successful candidate will be accountable for directing and guiding a diverse cross functional team through the active production and sustainment contracts with USG and international customers. The position will require the aptitude to understand the strategic plan of the business and work towards meeting established program and business goals.
As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will:
Support, and lead the proposal, negotiation, and management of complex proposal and contract activities in accordance with company policies, legal and customer requirements, with guidance or supervision from management.
Interpret and communicate business commitments and alternatives to program team and management during contract execution. Serve as a business advisor, not limited solely by your functional role on the team.
Develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers.
Gain, maintain, and continue to develop an in-depth knowledge and working understanding of the US Government Acquisition and Procurement environment, the BAE Systems Contracts function, and relevant company policies and procedures, terms & conditions, FAR/DFARS, export, and other government regulations.
Support proposal activities including, but not limited to, analysis of solicitations/RFPs, preparing summaries and developing strategies and recommendations based on the analysis.
Prepare the terms, conditions, and assumptions upon which proposals may be submitted, review the technical and pricing proposals for accuracy and consistency, conduct overall business risk analysis, and prepare the proposal documents for submittal to the customer.
Establish, manage, and execute negotiation strategies for contracts and contract modifications.
Execute auxiliary agreements (Proprietary Information Agreements, IP License Agreements, and Teaming Agreements)
Support the International Trade Compliance function with export license applications.
Perform business risk assessment and recommend mitigation plans.
Perform all aspects of assigned contract administration and execution management including, but not limited to, accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract modifications, non-conformances, receipts and delivery schedules, legal requirements, ancillary documents, and other commitments.
Compile, organize, and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and company policies and procedures
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of direct experience or equivalent experience
Communicates effectively both orally and in writing to internal and external customers, including senior management.
Exhibits sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel and customers.
Strong computer skills for data entry, reports, and other documents
Develop/demonstrate research, analysis, and presentation skills.
Aptitude to organize, prioritize and multitask.
Makes decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles, and applicable federal laws and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to focus on closure and obtain results.
Detail oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
Knowledge of DOD Contracting including, FAR/DFAR, OTAs, multiple contract types
Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance required
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Familiarity with using Government systems/tools to submit proposals (DIBBS/SAM)
Understanding of Export Control regulations
Ability to obtain SECRET clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
