Parkview North Hospital Perinatal Coord & Quality Spec in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Summary
Under the direction of quality & perinatal center leadership, evaluates the quality of care, treatment and outcomes of the perinatal patient population through concurrent review, in order to comply with and maintain Indiana Perinatal Center Designation. Works collaboratively with the FBC & NICU teams, including the transport members, Medical Directors, leadership, and all interdisciplinary staff. Oversees the management of the quality data collection and structures the PI activities within the Perinatal Center.
Education
Must obtain Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within three years of employment or will not be eligible to continue in the role. Coursework is completed outside of work hours. Nurses with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), hired/rehired or transferred from a non-nursing position prior to 12/1/17 are grandfathered into the role and not required to obtain BSN.
Licensure/Certification
Registered Nurse in state of Indiana.
Experience
At least 2 years perinatal experience. Previous experience in a quality improvement or leadership role desired.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks and coordinate events. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be able to handle a constantly changing environment in order to meet the needs of the patients. Must have the desire for life long learning, flexibility, trust, quality, teamwork, and stewardship.
