Are you an experienced retail pharmacy technician ready for a new opportunity to advance your career? We’re looking for passionate, detail-oriented individuals to join our Outpatient Pharmacy/CMMC Team at Parkview Outpatient Pharmacies.

This position will split time between the Comprehensive Medication Management Clinic and Outpatient Pharmacy. Additional position commitments include no more than every other weekend at Medical Park 11 Pharmacy (currently open on Saturdays only) and up to two holidays annually. What You’ll Do in Outpatient Pharmacy:

  • Assist in filling and dispensing prescriptions.

  • Answer patient questions about medication status in a friendly, professional manner.

  • Collaborate with pharmacists to manage inventory, maintain compliance, and ensure accuracy in prescription fulfillment.

  • Support the outpatient pharmacy’s services, including medication synchronization, copay coupon support, central fill collaboration, FLAVORx, Meds to Beds, etc.

What You’ll Do in Comprehensive Medication Management (CMM) Clinic:

  • Assist in patient check-in

  • Assist in appointment scheduling

  • Answer departmental phones to address patient questions and triage for pharmacist support as needed

  • Review departmental work queues for new referrals

  • Complete supply ordering (as needed)

  • Support monthly departmental hand hygiene audits and departmental prep checklist per Joint Commission

What We’re Looking For: Experience: High school graduate or equivalent GED required. At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or outpatient setting is preferred. If not, successful completion in Indiana Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Training program, within one year of employment is required. National certification not required.

Licensure/Certification: Must have or be eligible for an Indiana Board of Pharmacy Tech in Training license or a current State Board of Indiana license as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern. We love seeing CPhT certification but are open to supporting certification for the right candidate.
