Parkview Health Occupational Therapist (OT) in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with the following degree requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree if graduated before January 1, 2002.
A Master’s degree is required if graduated after January 1, 2002.
International candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Occupational Therapy license in the state where services will be provided within 90 days of employment.
CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to their expiration dates.
Additional Preferences:
Membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is preferred.
Work experience is preferred but not required, beyond clinical experience from educational training.
Other Requirements:
If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required. For personal vehicle use, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license are required.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds or perform shared lifting of 100 pounds.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
