job summary:

Maintenance Coordinator needed for a client in the Fort Wayne area. Looking for someone who can work in a fast paced environment and is organized. This individual will oversee and schedule all activities for general and preventative maintenance. Salary for this role will be based on experience.

Four years' experience inside a manufacturing environment is preferred. Associate degree or higher in manufacturing or technology programs is also preferred. Additional preferred skills include:

  • 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Office Products [Excel / Word / Outlook] [Skill Required]

  • 2+ years' experience with maintenance management software [MVP One preferred]

  • 2+ years' experience with cross department communication

  • 2+ years' experience with time sensitive responsibilities

location: FORT WAYNE, Indiana

salary: $55,000 - 65,000 per year

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

  • Organize work orders, work instructions, manuals, etc. and input data into MVP software system.

  • Maintain equipment manuals and work instructions inside MVP software.

  • Review and schedule all PM's and general work-orders submitted, via MVP software system.

  • Work with outside vendors setting up PM's to be completed per the schedule set by the Maintenance Manager.

  • Attend production scheduling meetings with production to achieve PM completion targets.

  • Responsible for continuous improvement projects to better stream-line PM scheduling.

  • Must be flexible to quickly react to unexpected events that may necessitate cancelling, rescheduling and/or working in a PM and/or repair with little or no notice as needed.

  • Assist in PM work instruction effectiveness with respective area Manufacturing Engineers & Operations.

  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining sufficient quantity levels of specific spare parts used for targeted PMs.

  • Perform other duties as needed.
