Robert Half Estimator/ Project Manager in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Estimator/Project Manager in the construction industry, based in a city in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The selected individual will play a crucial role in managing and estimating commercial construction projects, with a specific focus on site development, takeoff, and storm/sewer construction.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage commercial excavation projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.

• Provide accurate and efficient estimation for site-development projects.

• Handle storm/sewer construction projects, ensuring all guidelines and regulations are followed.

• Utilize specific software for project take-off and cost estimation.

• Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries as needed.

• Monitor client accounts, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.

• Resolve any client inquiries or issues in a timely and detail-oriented manner.

• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.

• Utilize your skills in construction estimating to provide accurate project costings.

• Take appropriate action when monitoring customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably within the excavation/construction industry.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial Construction Projects.

• Proficiency in Construction Estimating.

• Demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong understanding of customer needs and industry trends.

• High level of professionalism and business acumen.

• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or related field.
