Job Title: Corporate Benefits AdministratorJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Corporate Benefits Administrator to manage employee benefits and leave programs, including group health, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), family medical leave, and wellness benefits. This role requires overseeing COBRA administration, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and implementing company HIPAA privacy and security policies.
Responsibilities
Manage employee benefits and leave programs including group health, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), family medical leave, and wellness benefits.
Oversee COBRA administration.
Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, fees, and notices.
Implement and manage company HIPAA privacy and security policies as needed.
Collect employee data and supervise the processing of monthly billings and preparation of vouchers for administrative fees for all group plans.
Provide customer service to employees and benefit vendors.
Act as a liaison with divisional administrators to address technical questions and resolve benefit issues.
Offer training and support to divisional administrators on employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Assist in creating and distributing materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions.
Present employee benefit topics at employee meetings, company picnics, and other company events.
Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
Perform additional duties as required.
Essential Skills
3+ years of benefits administration experience
Experience with benefits vendor relationships including selection, compliance, etc.
Strong understanding of FMLA, ACA, ADA, LOA, HIPAA compliance requirements and federal/state laws
Experience using any HRIS/Benefits administration system
Experience tracking and auditing employee and employer amounts via billing, system, and payroll
High School Diploma
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience with UKG (preferred)
Work Environment
Corporate office environment with a business casual dress code. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with a typical work week of 40-50 hours. Employees will have their own cube. The team maintains a positive vibe even during challenges and adversity.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00
