Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in FORT WAYNE, Indiana. This role functions within the accounting industry, with a focus on processing expenses and maintaining accurate financial records. You will have the option to work remotely a few days a week, contributing to our team's efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing of customer credit applications

• Maintaining precise records of customer credit

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action

• Handling expense reports and ensuring they are processed correctly

• Utilizing software such as QuickBooks and Concur for various tasks

• Implementing manual processes when required

• Providing solutions for customer inquiries

• Ensuring all payment processing is done accurately and timely

• Using Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks

• Assisting in the growth of the company through effective and efficient accounting practices. Requirements • Proficiency in using Concur Expense software for managing business expenses

• Experience in using QuickBooks for managing accounting tasks

• Ability to process payments efficiently and accurately

• Experience in processing expense reports

• Familiarity with manual processes related to accounting tasks

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating spreadsheets, managing data, and performing calculations

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Good organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines

• Effective communication skills for interacting with other departments and external parties

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
