Robert Half Sr DevOps Engineer in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr DevOps Engineer in FORT WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be working closely with both the development and operations teams to implement and maintain our technology infrastructure. This includes configuring servers and containers, managing our Azure and AWS cloud environments, and automating build and release pipelines.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the operations and development teams to design and improve maintenance, automation, scaling, performance, cost, and availability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for both new and existing services in Azure and AWS.
• Administer, monitor, and deploy systems and services on Azure and AWS, ensuring minimal downtime by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Create and maintain build and release YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Attend agile ceremonies to ensure the visions of the teams align with DevOps principles.
• Implement monitoring and alerting in NewRelic and Site24x7 to proactively mitigate production outages and ensure adherence to our SLA requirements.
• Identify and drive opportunities to automate new and existing processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to create, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and pipelines.
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Selenium server clusters in Kubernetes to support automated testing, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Create and update documents and diagrams for technical designs, decisions, configurations, and standards. Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Amazon EC2.
• Demonstrated expertise in Ansible is required.
• Should have a strong understanding of Apache ANT+.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat is essential.
• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira is a must.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology is required.
• Must have substantial experience in Automation.
• Proficiency in AWS Technologies is necessary.
• Should have proven skills in Cluster Analysis.
