Responsibilities Plans, develops, coordinates, organizes, schedules, publicizes and directs a large, diversified installation intramural program. Submits and justifies budgetary and manpower requirements and monitors contracts. Determines supplies and equipment necessary and initiates requisitions for effective and efficient operation of the program. Ensures proper accountability, maintenance and care of equipment. Supervises and reviews the daily work of sports and field maintenance staff. Develops and prepares staff performance standards and appraisals. Keeps employees informed of management goals and objectives. Reviews and implements specific and general provisions of government-wide personnel, EEO, ICE and other programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Demonstrated experience in planning, supervising, administering, or carrying out a sports program that included a variety of individual and team sports. This experience may have been gained managing or administering a sports program in a community, industrial activity, school or college; or planning, teaching, or evaluating a physical education curriculum, for a secondary or higher academic level. Experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience may be substituted with a four year degree with an emphasis related to the duties performed e.g. physical education/sports/fitness/recreation etc. Highly Preferred Criteria: Have experience in Online League Management. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
