Description

This position is responsible for performing work associated with various types of projects within Lee County Utilities. Work may be performed under the close supervision of a professional engineer, professional geologist, or administrative supervisor. The work is results-oriented and is reviewed through reports and conferences with the supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in coordination and oversight of well projects, including compliance and permitting with local and state agencies.

  • Coordinates and manages data collection and compilation of both the monitoring network water level data and water quality sampling.

  • Reviews and evaluates Production Well water level, pumping, and water quality data.

  • Assists in design, permitting, and construction of well projects and repairs.

  • Assists in performing failure inspections and troubleshooting of Production Wells, ASR wells, various monitoring wells,

and Injection Wells.

  • Coordinates and assists in managing repair, rehabilitation, and replacement of Production Wells, pumps, and monitoring

wells.

Education, Experience, Licensing

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School graduation or GED equivalent and four years related experience appropriate to area of assignment.

Note: Some positions may require specific licenses/certifications either at entry or within a specified time of starting the job.

Supplemental Information

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
