Aboutthis opportunity:
Supervises, coordinates, and monitorsday-to-day operations of Families First programs including the Center of HopeFamily Shelter Unit. Supervises casework performed by program staff ensuringcompliance with program policies and procedures.
Keyresponsibilities:
Plan, coordinates, instruct, monitors,and follows-up on work of subordinate employees and volunteers; ensurescompliance with department policies and procedures.
Manages programs to ensure compliancewith all regulations, budgeting, and reporting.
Serves as liaison to other agencies to obtain/coordinateassistance on clients behalf; builds and maintains professional workingrelationships with community agencies.
Whatwe are looking for in you:
Bachelors degree from an accreditedcollege or university in Social Work or a related field, AND
Four years progressively responsibleexperience performing social services or case management with at least one yearin a supervisory capacity. OR
Any equivalent combination of trainingand experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ability to read, write and communicatethe English language.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Limitedamount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, liftingand carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Duties areusually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasionalperiods of standing or walking.
