Aerotek Production Supervisor in Fort Myers, Florida

Working with a manufacturing and distribution company seeking qualified Production Supervisors!

Pay is negotiable based on experience, access to full-time benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.), 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Job Description:

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.

• Directs and coordinates the activities of the employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as packers and machine operators.

• Oversee and coach employees, anywhere from 15-30 individuals.

• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.

• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.

• Check production output according to specifications.

• Submit reports on performance and progress.

• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.

• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.

• Manage and approve direct reports timecards for payroll purposes.

• Resolve equipment repair needs and initiates maintenance work orders to minimize production downtime.

• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.

• Appropriately handles employee concerns and complaints.
