Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Project Manager I to work out of their Ft. Mead, Maryland office.

HII-All Domain Operations is looking for a Project Manager I, supporting a High-Altitude Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (HA-ISR) program working with the program management office in support of ongoing operations around the world. Coordinate with Military customer, DoD entities and agencies to facilitate cutting-edge product development to ensure client capabilities meet current and future objectives. Shall have strong knowledge of ISR operations, Intelligence Community Processes, and aircraft integration, testing, and evaluation. Manage a team of rotating intelligence professionals supporting 24/7 operations worldwide. Recent operational and project coordination or management experience is a must. Must be comfortable with managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and possess the ability to complete assignments with little or no supervision. Requires regular travel to remote sites and customer engagement meetings for up to a month at a time. Work will be in support of multiple Combatant Commands including but not limited to EUCOM, INDOPACOM, and AFRICOM.

What You Will Do

  • Program Management: Manage the overall program, providing strategic direction, planning, and execution to ensure the successful delivery of all projects under the contract.

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the duration of the contract.

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, in collaboration with project teams and key stakeholders.

  • Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources across multiple projects to optimize productivity and deliver results within defined constraints.

  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with the program and individual projects, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize their impact.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with contract requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines to deliver high-quality deliverables.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of project managers, engineers, analysts, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, track project milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, including reporting requirements, deliverables, and any applicable regulations or legal obligations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identify areas for enhancement, and implement best practices to streamline operations and increase efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

  • 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager Operations Coordinator, or Site Lead, preferably within the defense industry or government contracting involving Army HA-ISR programs.

  • Strong knowledge of defense industry practices, regulations, and contractual requirements.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering projects within defined constraints.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a track record of managing risks and making timely, informed judgments.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Prior performance as a Mission Commander and/or Operations Specialist in support of Army HA-ISR programs.

  • Familiarity with Army COCOM ISR Collection Management processes.

  • Familiarity with Army Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) processes.

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and a CI Polygraph.

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • 5+ years of experience in managing Defense Aerospace or Airborne ISR contracts.

  • 3+ years of experience managing Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) type contracts supporting the Department of Defense.

  • 3+ years of experience with contractor requirements with Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) requirements throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa.

  • 3+ years of experience and familiarity with operations in the EUCOM and INDOPACOM AORs.

  • 3+ years of experience in managing contracts awarded and administrated by GSA/FEDSIM.

  • 3+ years of experience with using Smartsheet in managing projects and utilization of Office365 products to flatten communications with a geographically dispersed organization.

  • Completion of US Military Intelligence or Aircrew schools, or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with NSA processes and procedures.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.

  • Familiarity with DoD Aviation Platforms and ISR.
