Summary About the Position: US ARMY MILITARY DIST OF WASHINGTON DCS G/J1 PLANS & OPS DIV FORT MCNAIR, DC Responsibilities Manage the total processing and disposition of all individual and class EEO complaints. GS 13- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with the development of Command EEO policies and procedures; recommending resolutions of complaints to the Commander(s); and verifying remedies to assure results of the reports are following applicable guidelines. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). GS 14- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes - directing the development of Command EEO policies and procedures; advising the Commander(s) on the resolution of complaints; and monitoring of the remedy to assures results are following applicable guidelines. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Program Management Reporting Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12/13). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
