Phillips 66 Technician, I&E - Spindle Facility, CO in Fort Lupton, Colorado

This Instrumentation & Electrical Technician will be based out of our Spindle Facility in Fort Lupton, CO and is primarily responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of Company pipeline assets located in and around the geographic area. The position will calibrate and inspect measurement equipment, conduct routine pipeline maintenance, eliminate and report product leaks, seeps, and spills, as well as assist with construction, maintenance and mechanical integrity projects on the pipeline. The position will maintain qualifications and record documentation in accordance with all applicable DOT and OSHA regulations to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities May Include:
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the plant equipment, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
Participates in plant maintenance program.
Repairs or replaces plant equipment or systems on a scheduled or emergency basis.
Participates in safe work permit and lock out tag out programs.
Assists with diagnosing and trouble-shooting maintenance related issues.
Knows and understands city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to maintenance and plant equipment, and work in a safe manner to ensure that these regulations are met at all times.
Participates in programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness.
Participates in Health, Safety and Environmental programs.
Operate company vehicle to travel to nearby sites for emergency calls, as needed.
Basic Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must maintain a valid driver's license
Willingness and ability to perform and comply with following, with or without reasonable accommodations:
To climb up to 50 feet using both inclined and vertical steps/ladders
To lift up to 45 pounds
To bend, kneel, knee stand and squat up to 30 minutes at a time, to sit and stand for prolonged periods over 2 hours at a time according to job demands
To travel up to 15% of the time and respond to emergency calls as needed
To work overtime on an as-needed basis
To work alone a high percentage of the time
To work with chemicals and bases and wear personal protective equipment (such as fire-retardant clothing, steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection)
To maintain face so that a respirator / face mask can seal properly, i.e. to be clean shaven (facial hair)
To work outside in harsh weather conditions
To work with hydrocarbons that are under high pressure and heat
To perform firefighting duties
Preferred Qualifications:
4 or more years of relevant Industry experience (Midstream, Pipelines or Terminals) or Military experience
4 or more years of experience working with electrical power and components, digital and analog circuitry, or OMNI flow computer
Working knowledge of the following:
Electrical power and components
Digital and analog circuitry
One-line drawings and schematics
Allen-Bradley PLCs
Rosemount Transmitters
Delta V
Variable Frequency Drives
Voltages up to 4160VAC
Mechanical and rotating equipment

Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $91,300 - $106,000 depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.
