Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for working from blueprints and shop drawings to determine machine offset requirements to run specific jobs. This role involves loading and unloading machines with raw materials for fabrication using jib cranes or hoists, manipulating or changing out programs on the CNC machines prior to running the parts through for machining, and performing 1st piece inspection of machined parts utilizing micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 180 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in FORT LOUDON, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The new building is equipped with brand new CNC, welding, and painting booth area. It is a very detailed, clean shop with 5S. Currently, there are about 25 employees across all 3 shifts. Long pants and steel toes are required. Safety glasses and uniforms will be provided. Training will occur on the first shift for approximately 2 weeks before moving to the designated shift. Openings are available for 2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm and 3rd shift: 10:30pm- 7:00am.
