Description We are opening an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33316, United States. The successful candidate will be tasked with tasks such as financials, audit readiness, reconciliations, and other responsibilities within the telecom provider industry. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements to ensure they are accurate and completed in a timely manner

• Ensure readiness for audits by maintaining up-to-date records and performing regular checks

• Handle ledger reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze data effectively

• Operate MS Great Plains Solomon and/or MS Dynamics 365 Business Central for various accounting tasks

• Prepare for month-end close by reviewing all financial information for accuracy

• Address CPA related tasks as required, leveraging CPA skills if available

• Handle any additional responsibilities related to the role of a Sr. Accountant. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in the role of an accountant or similar financial role.

• Proficiency in Ledger Reconciliations, Financial Audits, Financial Statement Preparation, and Month End Close is essential.

• Must possess expert-level skills in MS Great Plains Solomon, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Microsoft Excel.

• CPA certification is required.

• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

• Demonstrated understanding of financial regulations and standards.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
