We are on the lookout for a Salesforce Admin/Platform Owner to join our team. This position would serve as the platform owner for our Salesforce development team, largely focused on ongoing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud releases. The successful candidate will ensure the environment is supported and maintained so that both the Sales and development teams have stable environments. The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly and confidently. They will be able to document requirements clearly and concisely, author technical documents, and manage the platform. Candidates will be able to manage client expectations and scope effectively and will understand both Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall project delivery models.

This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Candidates must work East Coast hours.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products.

• Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration.

• Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, Flows, queues, and groups.

• Use Data Loader to import/export data as needed.

• Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.

• Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support.

• Documenting processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.

• Preparing custom reports and dashboards for sales and other departments.

• All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, and queues.

• User support tickets

• Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flows, objects, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports

• Create reports on Salesforce utilization and trending

• Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment.

• Focus the organization’s use of data for what best serves the mission.

• Gather detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system, and implement these changes as appropriate

• Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as Flow and SFDX.

• Manage less complex Salesforce integrations - those not handled by a Salesforce Developer or Consultant/Partner.

• Identify, install, and maintain appropriate apps from AppExchange for event management, mass email, document merge, and more.

• Train new users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.

• Document customizations made in Salesforce.

• Plan upgrades, seasonal releases, and long-term projects.

• Able to effectively debug and resolve issues and/or defects which may be reported because of faults in the production system

• Assist in writing technical approach and design documentation as required

• Assist with Salesforce deployments using Flo sum DevOps tool

• Ensure Salesforce data backups are running correctly (Commvault). Assist with data restores and sandbox seeding as needed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of total IT systems engineering / platform ownership experience

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline

• Core infrastructure knowledge and experience; networking, firewalls, and server management

• Experience working with and managing certificates

• Extensive scripting experience, understanding when to take advantage of scripting to help automate processes.

• 2-5 years of experience managing/owning an enterprise platform

• System integration experience using integration techniques - REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth and Single Sign-On.

• Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle and DevOps Tools like GIT, JIRA etc.

• Experience with integration tools like MuleSoft or Informatica Cloud would be a plus

Skills (Preferred)

• 1 - 5 years of Salesforce project development experience

• Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $54,200 - $190,100.
