Paralegal- Construction Law Miami, FL 33127 (Hybrid: 3 days in office/ 2 days remote)

ARC Group is currently looking for a Paralegal with Construction Law for a client of ours that is a rapidly growing law firm specializing in Construction Law. Our client takes pride in providing exceptional legal services to their clients, which include contractors, developers, and construction companies. As they expand, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview:We are looking for a dedicated Paralegal with a strong background in litigation and a passion for Construction Law. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, possess a Bachelor's degree (preferred), and hold a paralegal certification (preferred). The candidate must be adept at legal research and have a thorough understanding of laws and regulations pertaining to Construction Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of construction litigation, including document preparation, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to Construction Law and related regulations.
  • Draft, review, and manage various legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts, scheduling meetings and interviews as necessary.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and administrative agencies.
  • Manage and track case deadlines and court dates.
  • Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and coordination.
  • Conduct due diligence and fact-finding investigations as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on litigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited program (preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of Construction Law and related regulations.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
