We’re looking for an experience billing and analytical professional. The HR Ship Analytics and Billing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes while leveraging data analytics to drive informed decision-making. This position involves analyzing financial data, monitoring billing procedures, and implementing strategies to optimize expenditure. This role will also assist in supporting Talent Partner operations and provide reporting and metrics assistance for absconder strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures proper coding of vendor invoices for various expense categories. Performs reconciliations for all expense accounts and addresses any discrepancies promptly. Gathers billing information and address stakeholder inquiries and ensures vendor payments are processed in a timely manner to ensure all obligations are met.

  • Conducts analytical reviews of department data including but not limited to financial, vendor performance, absconders and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Responds to general HRIS (Pinpoint, Maps/Mistral & MS Teams systems) inquiries and concerns from HR team, talent partners, team members and management relating to HR data issues, including data entry, system maintenance, and user support.

  • Runs a variety of reports, create basic reports or queries using HRIS reporting tools maintaining discretion in matters of confidentiality.

  • Helps monitor and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Talent Partners.

  • Assists in supporting absconder strategies that include monitoring deserter events, tracking safeguarding and communications to deter absconding, and compiling reports

  • Provides support to Talent Partners as required and supports the Team shared Mailboxes which includes the GTP Mailbox.

  • Assists in administering and tracking Talent Partner audits, onboarding surveys and other performance metrics

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of work experience in billing, collections, or closely related area.

  • Experience in the cruise industry highly preferred

  • Proven experience in billing, finance, or analytics roles within the travel or hospitality industry.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools..

  • Knowledge of billing systems and financial software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the MLC 2006 - Maritime Labor Convention guidelines.

  • Proficiency in MAPS, Pinpoint, Mistral, Microsoft Teams & Power BI is a plus

  • Familiarity with the Cruise industry, experience and knowledge of international visa requirements is required for this role

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills

  • Base Hourly Range: $24.00 to $32.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
