Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the education industry, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role primarily involves assisting schools with their accounts payable processes as well as light administrative duties. The specialist will be working in a high volume environment, handling a variety of responsibilities related to invoice processing and payment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist schools in their Accounts Payable process

• Utilize 2 and 3 way matching for invoice processing

• Code invoices accurately and efficiently

• Conduct check runs and ACHs to ensure timely payments

• Handle intercompany transactions/payments

• Manage a high volume of invoices to process

• Conduct invoice approvals and reconciliation

• Enter vendor invoices and manage purchase orders

• Utilize NetSuite and Excel (vlookups & pivot tables) for various tasks

• Perform light administrative duties as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices

• Experience with NetSuite, Netsuite CRM, and Oracle NetSuite Technologies

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, particularly in creating and using Excel Formulas

• Proven ability in Coding Invoices, Enter Invoices, and Enter Vendor Invoices

• Knowledge and experience in Invoice Approvals, Invoice Coding, Invoice Payment, and Invoice Reconciliation

• Familiarity with handling Monthly Invoices, Outstanding Invoices, and Payable Invoices

• Experience in managing Purchase Orders

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle issues promptly and efficiently

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to continuously learn and grow in the role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Relevant professional certifications would be an advantage
