About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Fort Jackson, SC. Responsibilities Evaluates and validates government and contractor management team’s performance in accordance with their site SOPs and regulations, policies, and procedures. Evaluates and inspects the Logistics Readiness Centers (LRCs) to ensure compliance with regulations and business practices in logistics services such as ammunition supply, maintenance, transportation etc. Participates in meetings with supply quality control groups. Analyzes statistical data collected from sampling of supply documents and equipment. Identifies "Best Practices” for information sharing to disseminate policies and procedures. Resolves quality, logistics and maintenance issues. Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Developing contract documentation; b) Evaluating, monitoring, and/ or inspecting contractors performance in accordance with contract SOPs and regulations, policies, and procedures for a variety of logistical functions Maintenance, Transportation, and Supply and Services. and 3) Analyze statistical data using automated systems for decision making. -OR- Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position. -OR- Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
