Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1E8AA USA INTELLIGENCE CTR OF EXCELLENCE. Serves as a Training Specialist (Intel) for specific new Military Intelligence Systems and equipment. Responsibilities Plans, develops, and implements training strategies and system training plans for selected new and product improved Military Intelligence Systems. Develops and staffs new systems training development products to ensure conformity and compliance with current regulations. Conducts training development meetings to review combat, material, training developer, and primary stakeholder input to current and future system training plans. Identifies areas of concern and proposes mitigating options for training related issues in support of the Army system acquisition process. Participates in intelligence training and training development meetings for development, collaboration and quality control of final products. Performs system task analysis and develops/instructs Doctrine and Tactics Training (DTT) for new and improved MI systems. Develops Military Intelligence training programs and products to include Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) in support of training and testing new and product improved intelligence systems. Represents the Intelligence Center to develop and implement system training and training development products for a variety of MI system operational tests. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience. To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that includes: (1) reviewing military intelligence operational systems curriculum to develop new system training plans as new and product improved military intelligence systems emerge; (2) conducting system task analysis to determine critical needs for incorporation into new training plans; and (3) serve as advisor on one or more intelligence disciplines such as All-source intelligence, Counterintelligence (CI), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Open-source Intelligence (OSINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), MI Systems Maintainer/Integrator, or Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS/GG-11). Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI). This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
