Sanitation Truck Driver I will perform unskilled work in the operation of a garbage truck for transport, collection, and disposal of garbage. Performs skilled work in the operation of motorized equipment. Incumbents work under supervision to become familiar with sanitation work by performing a variety of the more routine tasks. As incumbents become more proficient, they work under general supervision, independently performing sanitation duties of average difficulty

• Operate Sanitation Truck in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life
• Operates truck, including automatic and manual transmission, engaged in the collection and loading of solid waste/recyclable materials from residential, Tribal ceremonial functions and/or commercial customers
• Advises the Water Systems Director of any requirements for maintenanæ or repairs and participate in routine maintenance of the vehicle;  Clean as scheduled and/or required
• MUST have a CDL License
