Senior On-Site Service Specialist - Mail Courier and Scanning Services

POSITION PROFILE

Provides support to Ricoh customer in sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, follows schedule courier route to customer locations using Ricoh Owned Vehicle (sedan), apply appropriate postage to outgoing mail, maintain logs for tracking and scan oversized documents. This position is part of a small team supporting a Ricoh customer in Fort Collins, CO with Work Hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Due to the higher level of skills needed to perform as well as high level of customer interaction, employees performing this function are considered to be Senior On-Site Services Specialist. This position reports directly to the Site Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Picks up incoming mail from USPS and sorts to appropriate department

• Distributes mail to designated drop-off points on a predetermined route/schedule

• Picks up outgoing USPS mail and applies metered postage

• Maintains logs for daily and monthly tracking

• Operates Ricoh Owned Vehicle for all courier functionality (sedan/hatchback)

• Performs duties of scanning documents into customer-maintained system

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications)

• Requires high school diploma or GED and1-2 years of related work experience.

• Some related mail and/or courier job experience is preferred.

• Requires valid driver's license

• Demonstrate competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite

KNOWLEDGE, Skills and Abilities

• Requires knowledge and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures.

• Basis electronics knowledge is preferred.

• Possesses ability to work independently and flexibly to complete projects.

• Possesses ability to comprehend instructions concerning mail delivery.

• Possesses troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Possesses ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of manuals and related publications.

• Possesses excellent customer relations skills and excellent verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Requires exposure to various weather conditions when walking is necessary between buildings and in and out of buildings throughout the day

• Makes daily in-person contact with internal and external customers

• Adherence to scheduled stop times and locations can pose level of stress.

• Some physical effort is required which may involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing or similar activities as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 lbs. Walking between buildings / from the car to multiple buildings is necessary.
