Responsibilities
The Truck Driver drives a truck to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments such as: manufacturing plants, freight depots, warehouses, wholesale and retail establishments, or between retail establishments and customers’ houses or places of business. This driver may also load or unload truck with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order.
There are two Truck Driver categories on the EAGLE contract. They include:
TRUCKDRIVER, HEAVY TRUCK: Straight truck, over 4 tons, usually 10 wheels.
TRUCKDRIVER, TRACTOR-TRAILER: A trailer having a set or several sets of wheels at the rear only, with the forward portion being supported by the truck tractor or towing vehicle.

Qualifications
Must have a Truck Driver, Heavy: Commercial Driver’s License
Must have a minimum of 4+ years truck driving experience
Must have the ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
Ability to receive a favorable TIER 1 investigation
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Truck Driver, Tractor-Trailer: Commercial Driver’s License Preferred
Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching. Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
Hourly Pay Rate : $22.33
