City Light & Power, Inc ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER-ELECTRIC UTILITY in Fort Campbell, Kentucky

Assistant Project Manager-Electric Utility Location: Fort Campbell, KY City Light & Power, Inc. (CLP) has built a reputation as an innovative, reliable, and responsive private Utility Development Leader, and we're looking for an Assistant Project Manager-Electric Utility for our Ft. Campbell, KY location. CLP supports the federal government, military institutions, municipalities, and major utilities across the United States, with financing, design, engineering, construction, and ongoing operations and maintenance for electrical transmission and distribution systems. The Assistant Project Manager position is a hands-on role at the site and will assist and coordinate with the team to complete projects on time and within scope. Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist with the coordination of project team personnel and resources. * Enhance and maintain relationships with clients, designers, consultants, and contractors. * Assist onsite team with compiling reports regarding financial performance of the project. * Attend project meetings and assist with pre-award, pre-construction and project progress updates. * Work with Project Superintendent to develop and maintain site logistics plans. * Assist with preparing trade contracts, bid packages and the procurement process. * Set-up QA/QC procedures and conduct quality inspections. * Adhere to the corporate Safety and Health Management Program at all times and enforce as needed. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Skills and Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred. * Three to five (3-5) years of project management experience in construction or utilities preferred. * Previous work experience with City Light & Power may be substituted. * Experience with blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to view time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services. * Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office Products. * Ability to prepare construction schedules in Microsoft Project or similar software. * Must have excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communications skills. * Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality. * Must be a team player and able to work with various partners from start to finish. Other Requirements: * You must be a US Citizen * You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance * Valid driver's license required. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: * This is a full-time exempt position. Office hours are Monday through Friday. The ability and availability to travel, attend meetings and functions outside typical business hours may be required.
