We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement US AFRICOM’s mission objectives.

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Network Administrator. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAFRICOM located CONUS in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This position may require travel OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.

  • Respond as needed to end user desktop issues.

  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and outages.

  • Perform network security measures and ensure compliance with security policies.

  • Manage and support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

  • Collaborate with IT team members to design and implement network solutions.

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.

  • Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • DOD 8570 IAT 2 compliance

  • CCNA certification is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration.

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.

  • Experience with network security practices and tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$65,000 - $136,500
