ITC Defense USASAC Administrative Assistant in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Position: USASAC Administrative Assistant
Overview: The United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) oversees the Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiative and serves as the Executive Agent for the Army Security Assistance Program. As a Major Subordinate Command under the U.S. Army Materiel Command, USASAC operates across multiple locations. This contract provides Programmatic Support Services for Security Assistance (SA), FMS, and international programs, supporting U.S. Army-managed weapon systems and associated equipment throughout the entire FMS Life Cycle, from Case Development to Case Closure. The successful candidate will assist USASAC by conducting research, providing recommendations, and analyzing FMS case development and execution to meet customer requirements. This role requires experience with security assistance management procedures, weapon systems, technical coordination, cost and schedule management, and risk mitigation to ensure the timely delivery of operational and supportable systems.
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of complex and routine administrative and secretarial duties; includes answers and directs phone calls, organizes, and schedules appointments and meetings, maintains contact lists, produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms, and assists with the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience with administrative assistant responsibilities.
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint, Government travel, and time and attendance reporting systems.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Active Interim Secret Clearance or above is required at the time of hire.
