Data Architect - Senior – TS/SCI required

HOW A DATA ARCHITECT - SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Data architects focus on how information moves across the system from one application to another.

• Demonstrated expertise in requirements engineering, software architecture, software testing, and software deployment including understanding how the software interacts with the technical architecture.

• Data architects allow a company to easily publish and share their data with others in the industry, data architects design database systems.

• By creating the system according to industry standards, they also help a business accurately report information to the necessary bureaus.

• First, the architect may review any data architecture already in place, while also determining the specifications for the size of the new system.

• The databases they create organize large bits of information, such as company spending.

• Additionally, they design with growth in mind, allowing for future modifications to the database as the company develops.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 12 years of experience or Master’s Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 10 years of experience

• Required Skillset:

• Work across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts.

• Deal with escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues.

• Write and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, etc.

• Clearance Level: TS/SCI

• Required Certification(s):

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract

• IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent

• ​ Location : On Customer Site

• Additional :

• Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract

• Position may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity

• Travel may be required to support the mission

The likely salary range for this position is $153,598 - $207,810. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
