ManpowerGroup Controls Engineer in Forest, Virginia

Our client in the conveyor manufacturing industry is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Design Team. The ideal candidate will be able to establish credibility and be decisive, able to work independently and work effectively with a team and have well-developed interpersonal skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Forest, VA

Pay Range: Up to $60 per hour

What’s the Job?

  • Design, test and implement control systems for robotics, conveyor/material handling and other automation systems

  • Prepare engineering and supporting documentation, wiring schematics, assembly drawings, bill of material and panel machining drawings

  • Interface with manufacturing team to ensure equipment conforms to design and customer specifications

  • Participate in presentations and the client's or prospect's job site

What’s Needed?

  • 3 to 5 years of Controls Engineering experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • In-depth knowledge of HMI, PLC, motion controls, materials and manufacturing process

  • Experience with AutoCAD electrical

  • Prior robotics implementation is a plus
