Automotive company looking for a Dangerous Goods Coordinator to join their team in Fontana. You will be responsible for assisting with regulatory compliance, risk assessment, inventory, data entry, supply chain collaboration, managing documentation, running audits, some IT support, and other responsibilities as assigned. This is a contract assignment with a possibility of it going perm with the right fit. You will be working M-F 8am-5pm with weekends off. This role is 100% onsite in Fontana and is paying around $25-$30/hr DOE. During your employment with Randstad you will be paid on a weekly basis!! If you have 3+ years experience in transportation, compliance, supply chain management and/or project coordination and want to continue to grow/learn then this could be a good opportunity for you.   • Regulatory Compliance: Ensures transportation, storage, and handling of dangerous goods adhere to relevant regulations, such as IATA, IMDG, and OSHA.

  • Risk Assessment: Identifies and mitigates potential hazards associated with dangerous goods, implementing safety measures to prevent accidents.

  • Documentation: Prepares and verifies accurate documentation, including shipping papers, labels, and certificates, to comply with regulations.

  • Training: Provides training and guidance to employees handling dangerous goods, ensuring they understand procedures and safety protocols.

  • Incident Response: Coordinates response efforts in case of accidents or incidents involving dangerous goods, minimizing harm and ensuring proper reporting.

  • Inventory Management: Oversees the storage and inventory of dangerous goods, ensuring proper segregation, labeling, and storage conditions.

  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Works with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure safe transportation and handling of dangerous goods.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stays up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices, implementing process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency.
