Are you an experienced Logistics Coordinator skilled in scheduling truck shipments, onboarding new carriers, negotiating rates, and proficient in Excel? salary: $23 - $25 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Schedule trucks for outbound shipments to customers.

• Onboard new carriers and trucking companies.

• Negotiate rates and costs per lane with carriers.

• Update spreadsheets with Over The Road (OTR) Cost Comparisons and price per lane in Ikat as provided by carriers.

• Update Fuel Surcharge (FSC) costs for each carrier weekly using the provided FSC matrix.

• Print and process trucking invoices, match them with Bills of Lading (BOL), and enter them into the system.

• Scan invoices and send them to our Wisconsin plant every Wednesday.

• Generate daily reports to KSU, listing all orders that did not ship as planned.

• During promotional periods, coordinate offsite warehouse shipments with carriers and track these orders.

• Perform general filing and support tasks as assigned by management.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Outlook.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• standing for 4 hours at one time

Skills

• NEGOTIATIONS (2 years of experience is preferred)
