Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, 47119-9692, United States. This position involves processing patient billing, maintaining accurate records, and resolving related inquiries. You will be tasked with monitoring patient accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process patient billing information.

• Keep patient billing records up to date and organized.

• Handle inquiries related to patient billing.

• Monitor patient accounts and initiate necessary actions.

• Utilize Allscripts and Cerner Technologies for data management.

• Leverage Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) and EHR SYSTEM for effective communication and data transfer.

• Implement Epaces for electronic data interchanges.

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all payments are processed and accounted for.

• Oversee appeals, ensuring they are managed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

• Handle Benefit and Billing Functions, ensuring all aspects are covered and accurate.

• Administer claim administration, ensuring all claims are processed accurately and within a timely manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Allscripts software for optimal medical billing operations

• Familiarity with Cerner Technologies to enhance healthcare information management

• Ability to utilize Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for interprocess communication

• Expertise in using EHR SYSTEM for electronic health records management

• Experience with Epaces for effective electronic Medicaid processes

• Strong skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage and track payments

• Proven ability to handle Appeals in the medical billing process

• Understanding of Benefit Functions in the healthcare industry

• Proficiency in Billing Functions to ensure accurate and timely billing

• Experience in Claim Administration for efficient management of insurance claims
