We are looking for a Planning Excellence Specialist to join our CI team in Florham Park, NJ.

With more than 600 products in its portfolio, in particular amines, diols, polyalcohols, acids and specialties, the Intermediates division offers innovative solutions for a wide range of industries – from coatings and plastics to pharmaceuticals and crop protection.

As a Planning Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for defining and implementing materials planning activities used byChemical Intermediates Supply ChainNorth America with focus on utilization and continuous improvement of SOP and OPR modules in OMP. This includes the development, implementation, and optimization of processes through increased use of OMP and other tools and systems. In this role you will challenge the status quo by taking pride in finding the most optimal solutions to improve overall business performance and enhance value to our customers.

As a Planning Excellence Specialist, you create chemistry by...

  • Representing CIN regional business unit in the design and implementation of corporate initiatives and global projects related to OMP planning tool.

  • Being responsible for developing and implementing various material planning processes, including adherence to established processes.

  • Leading process and system implementation activities related to OMPincluding establishing and meeting deadlines, resolving hurdles, arranging end user testing and training, driving decisions and actions, and communicating with stakeholders for successful change management.

  • Working across functions, engaging other leaders in the organization, or presenting key information that facilitates decision making andperforming root cause analysis of eventsand trends.

  • Interfacing with team members and business personnel to enable process enhancements and develop process controls to prevent errors from reoccurring.

  • Acting as key interface between Material Planners and NPL / OMP colleagues

  • Coordinating with BEX Planners and similar roles in other CI Regions as well as other BASF operating divisions

  • Creating and updating material planning training materials.

If you...

  • Have a degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or IT related field.

  • Possess proven Project management expertise.

  • Are familiar with OMP andSAP (preferred).

  • Areproficient in Microsoft Office tools.
