Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Manager, QA to join our world-class team in Florence. As a Manager, QA, you will have the unique opportunity to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional leadership to assigned staff, empowering them to succeed and achieve their personal career goals while contributing to common organizational goals.

  • Coordinate batch documentation review, resolving any issues to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices.

  • Oversee batch record issuance and prepare manufacturing documentation for updated filing.

  • Review and approve deviation reports, planned changes, change controls, and product quality investigations.

  • Maintain the work order system and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance and cleaning work orders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Five years of pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
