Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for unloading raw materials and setting up necessary equipment. The role involves using a pallet jack to move materials around efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw materials.

• Set up necessary equipment.

• Use a pallet jack to move materials.

• Ensure efficient material handling and scanning.

• Maintain constant movement and assist with labor tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklift operation.

• Proficiency in material handling.

• Ability to use scanning equipment.

• Strong labor skills.

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to use a pallet jack.

• Physical stamina to be constantly on the move.

Work Environment

The role operates out of the DB Schenker building on a day shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The work involves consistent physical activity and requires appropriate attire for material handling tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of FLORENCE, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.14
